We are getting spoiled!!

I had to watch the game fromt he computer so I am not sure if what Jedidiah did was right or wrong. All I know is we had OVER 500 yards of "O" so we were doing somehting right!!

Drew was Stepping up after play action, the rusher got around Jed and was about 5 yards away from drew, so Jed pulled him to the ground as Brees was getting ready to pass, yeah it negated a TD but he protected drew and thats what I want most of all

Occasionally you give up a passing interference call to prevent a TD... no different here protect Brees at all cost and try and get away with a hold.

But the others were pretty much BONEHEAD mistakes. Not ready to play.

Center really messed up... hiking the ball without looking back to see Brees ready. There was no snap count nothing he just got lost in the moment and made a boneheaded mistake without thinking.

Seen a few of these mistakes this year where we aren't playing as smart as we have been in recent years.

I think its the pre-game chant Bree's does. It is different. Look these guys are professionals and should be ready to play at game time but there is maybe 10-20 percent of the team that need that chant to get ready and fired up. Get their head into the game. They need to go back to the 2009 chant.

Didn't we still score on the drive with the Collins penalty? Now two penalties in 2 weeks isn't great, but it didn't cost us.

What happened on the DLP facemask? Obviously that and the fumble should have been avoided

LOL I remind some of you this is merely a fan board where we come to discuss what may happen, what happens and what we want to happen. Nothing more.

If you can't find something wrong, like excessive, big-play negating penalties, with even a blowout great performance like yesterday, then you have not an objective bone in your body.

With that said, you guys can't be serious. It's now okay to have a touchdown, a damn touchdown called back, if it saves precious Drew Brees from getting hit? Ask drew if he'd rather have that touchdown. Ask the receiver (Meach?) if that's okay. Hell, ask the coaches if that's okay.

So at TN, we saved Sproles from being tackled at the cost of a touchdown and that's OKAY?

Are we now so spoiled that we have to protect Drew from any hits at all? That's the goal, yes, but to negate a touchdown?

So basically, those of you who have a problem with me having a problem are saying that a win like that deserves NO coaching afterward, just pats on the ass all around.

Foolish.

I don't have a problem with the way we played football yesterday, I have a problem with false starts, holding calls, and a bum snap that could have become a touchdown and a game changer. If we had a different outcome to this game it would be FRONT and CENTER.

Jed needs to LEARN to block within the rules or they'll find someone who can. He is no Jerome Bettis, for God's sake. If he pulls that stunt once per game to the tune of a touchdown call-back, it will cost us a game. Let's hope it does't happen next week because it won't be so much of a blowout next week I guarantee.

Are you kidding? I am in complete control. I am manipulating you people for my own financial gain. I make the decisions and write the scripts. I learned how to do it from my days watching Junk Yard Dog on Mid-South...

Are you actually serious? You would rather score a TD and see drew get injured than have the TD called back for someone protecting drew?
That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.

If drew went down our total season would be done, I think one touchdown called back is a small price to pay for Drew being healthy

I didn't realize Drew gets hurt every time he gets tackled in tackle football.

Shame on me.

He's a big boy.

AND; neither Coach Payton nor Drew held high regard for the penalties in the first half according to the post-game presser.
Sorta MAKES my point.
