When The Saints Win the Superbowl Again...

Will you cry? I know almost all of us die hard fans shed a few tears for the 2009 team, but now that the UNBELIEVABLE FEAT HAS BE ACCOMPLISHED will you still be as emotional or not?

I kind of think I could suck it up this time. :bng:

DUDE... Are you kidding me!?

Of course I'll cry! LOL :crying:

I'd cry if Atlanta wins one.

WhoDat!656 12-22-2011 08:11 PM

Do you mean...

like this?

Srgt. Hulka 12-22-2011 09:23 PM

I'm not gonna cry, I'm gonna risk being arrested and shoot fireworks again!

pherein 12-22-2011 09:31 PM

Yeah, probably, especially if we beat Brady's and BB Patriots. As long as the NFC Champoinship doesn't come down to a overtime feild goal, I don't feel like nervous vomiting again.

Problem with being a fan sense birth is, we are always waiting for something weird or the left shoe to drop, and end it. It's habit to think we will never win at this point, lol.

Nope won't cry at all... but I will let out a BOOOOYA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Srgt. Hulka 12-22-2011 09:57 PM

Speaking of winning the superbowl, anybody know where to get a bottle of the Who Dat champaign?

GAwhodat 12-23-2011 03:19 AM

DOn't jinx us guys by saying the SB word..

Mardigras9 12-23-2011 09:00 AM

Absolutely, especially because this season has been more stressful than 09.

halloween 65 12-23-2011 09:14 AM

I would, just like a 217lb. baby.

I think beating the Falcons is the next step for this team and that will be plenty exhilarating for me right now. I might even cry the next day, if I drink too much and have to go to work. Super Bowl is far, far away and hard to get there.

I will say this though -- I think something even better than talking about the Super Bowl emotions right now -- this year, the vibe and emotions on RECEIVING THE INVOICE FOR PLAYOFF TICKETS was awesomely satisfying for me. On the one hand, getting that vague invoice from the Saints season ticket office, to buy playoff tickets in case they're in the Dome, was like a fist-pumping YES! But on the other hand, this has happened a bunch of years now since '06, so budgeting for playoff tickets around the holidays and keeping those playoff dates open on my calendar, in case there is a playoff game in the Dome, that is "business as usual" for us now...so my reaction to getting the playoff invoice was kind of cool and calm, happy but it was no big deal...you know the old slogan about "act like you've been there before," well when it comes to Saints and playoffs, I am really acting like I've been there before, because now we have, LOL.

Saint_LB 12-23-2011 09:23 AM

No...but winning the SB was like getting a monkey off my back.

Being alive while we are becoming a dynasty was more than I had ever hoped for, but it is great!

CRY - OUTLOUD!!

Shake it up baby - scream & shout!!

I've always felt that this coaching staff and players had 3 Super Bowls in them. Winning one was great but I feel that winning 2 is validation because if we win 2 they can't say it was a fluke or luck. If we get 3, there is no denying us and what this team and staff and players have accomplished.

So, I'm thrilled to finally have one, would feel better with two but not satisfied, with three I'm good. I know they have it in them and I hope they do it not just for the fans and the city, but for themselves too.

as I've let it grow since Feb '10 then despite being a baldy...resulting in a very nice skullet

I do think one thing. This season has been more exciting than the 2009 season. No kidding!

I hope it has a similar ending as the 2009 season had.
