Saints Rabbit....

Recently my California white rabbit died (Thumper). He was a great pet with free roam of the house and yard. He lived for 10 years.
My wife is heart broken. There is a rabbit named "Brees" available on the internet.

Question: Do I get him? Pic of Brees below. He's a dead ringer (no pun intended) for Thumper.

you better chew proof all your cords and wires, drape the upholstery with hard resins, and prepare for the worst smelling urine.

and for the rabbit....

Yea... he's a little older and litter box trained. I've heard that one before. The real problem is that rabbits shed constant hair and leave coco puffs everywhere. Hopefully the rabbit vacumes well.

I'm screwed.

She is doing foster home for 4 kittens. They stay for a weeks and then they go to a non kill schelter. It's cute but my current cat hates it. I'm hoping a rabbit might get her over this.

Not always. I know in the case of dogs, my best dogs came from the kennel! My latest was on death row, a pure breed Chocolate Lab - the "runaway" dog.

The dog I paid $1,000 for years ago died of heart disease before he was 5.

How could you have a rabbit named anything else than breakfast?

foreverfan 12-27-2011 04:25 PM

You guys could have voted NFW a few more times.

If you cook it for her, and then hand feed it to her, preferably on some nice dinnerware in a climate controlled environment, then yeah.

She enjoys camping, but refuses to sleep on the ground.

foreverfan 12-27-2011 07:46 PM

Does she have a warm nose?

foreverfan 01-07-2012 11:17 AM

foreverfan 01-07-2012 03:02 PM

Well I'm the proud owner of another rabbit.

hagan714 01-07-2012 04:14 PM

worse case the rabbit does not work out. you eat it and wish you had gotten two. one rabbit will only line one glove.
