Perhaps if the Falcons had tackled better or not blown as many coverages or had not traded half their draft for a receiver who couldn’t hold onto the ball, they wouldn’t have been staring at a deficit that seemed as tall as the Superdome roof. But this was not the Saints’ problem. And with the nation watching as Drew Brees stood on the doorstep of one of the two most cherished season records in football, what were the Saints to do? Quit playing hard?

They did trade the draft away for Jones, thats kind of like dumba$$ Ditka trading for Williams, it's going to take years to recover. I didn't care for Jones in collage and since he plays for the Falcons and took their entire draft away for a few years, well I kinda like him now.lol

All this hooplah about the Saints being "classless" is the media trying to create drama in the NFL to keep it interesting. The teams know you play hard for 60 mins...not 45mins, not 50mins but 60! Falcons coulda,shoulda woulda Did not play 60 minutes, end of story!
