Sorry Mike, but your boys have sucked the entire season. They deserve all the criticism they get thrown their way, even if you may be technically correct about these two instances.

seems pretty clear to me... lead with your head, you get a flag. Both examples were textbook and periera explained them well.

I dont automatically diss the refs, in fact, as I've spelled out in another thread, they actually do a pretty amazing job the average person could not. All theyre doing is enforcing the rules as written, but I do agree the rules are getting silly.

I do think they brain-farted on the hold in the endzone, and we shouldve
gotten a safety. But overall, they do a good job, and Periera is just making the point that the refs are always an easy and unpopular target. The refs actually do a better job of doing their job than the players do of
doing theirs. Otherwise, you wouldnt have some of the stupid penalties they commit.

I think we should ditch replay, and also stop whining about refs. When the play's over, get up, line up, and play football.

Was the center/tackle in the endzone when the flag was thrown?

I know it was close but I didn't tape the game to watch.
