I get the feeling that this entire article was written because Pat Yasinkas simply wanted another excuse to write the sentence "They ended up losing to a team that didn’t even finish the regular season with a winning record" and remind everybody one more time about the Seattle game last year. That's how these media people think.

Hey, on any given Sunday..... as such, we still have a shot at the number two seed. Brees and everyone else has to play.

another stupid article

so the GB-Det and SF-StL games have already been decided? Let's stop all the talk about playing the starters and go on the assumption that these games actually do mean something.
ATL can say they want us again, but the fact is they would love to win Sunday, have Det lose, and end up in SF instead.
