The most used argument will be that Rogers was such the MVP that he didn't need to play today.........

Yeah well Matt Flynn, the backup QB, set a team record with 480 yards 4 TD's. This proves that Rodgers is not the MVP!! Could Chase Daniel put up those stats?? I doubt it.

Drew Brees is the MVP hands down!!

WHO DAT!!

Good point. I think Flynn made himself a lot of cash with todays game. He'll start somewhere next year.

Maybe for the Buccaneers? He's a lot better than Freeman ever thought about being...

If Daniels can't match Flynn's performance, then it proves that Flynn is a better QB than Daniels. Not that Brees is a better QB than Rodgers.

we never get to see what Chase is made of, he comes in and hands off and wastes clock.

You must have totally missed the point. The point was that GB's offense is just as good without Rodgers. Backup QB playing against a hungry Lions team trying to get the number 5 seed and he shred there defense up. He also managed to break a team record that Rodgers hadn't even done.

Drew's role in N.O. is greater than Rodgers. I would venture to say we would be the Colts this year if we didn't have Drew. Can you say that after seeing Flynn's performance today?

All of this = Drew Brees MVP!
