Other than being a division rival, I don't understand or agree with all of the hate directed toward Cam Newton.

He will help make the NFC South the most feared division in football.

He is a helluva athlete and will only get better as he gains experience.

He's a gifted athlete but an overconfident "all about me" type of person, I like th fact the Steve smith didn't do much after running his mouth at coach Payton, he had two catches and a fumble for the rest of the game

I was hoping Sean would have left the starters in the whole game after that and kept on scoring until the final whistle then if the Panther's coach asked Sean what that was all about Sean could say, "Go ask your big mouthed wide receiver."

I too would have loved that, but taking the high road usually works best.

It would have been cool on the final defensive series to let Steve Smith score on an intentionally uncovered bomb and all 11 players (and the rest of the team) just start applauding in mockery toward his sorry ass. Kill 'em with kindness.
