Ivory needs a haircut

No problem with dreads but he could have gotten another 15 yards on that run. Hair pulling was cool in the show Dynasty but it ain't cool if it cost us a playoff game. Cut it.

It seems to have helped Patrick Robinson!!!

I noticed that too!

Less mental weight?

Cut those dreads, but don't smoke them quite yet.

Who Dat!

Ivory can keep it........ just tuck your hair in the helmet while you're playing.
It's also legal to tackle a player by the hair in rugby. Yes, I've made plenty of tackles and not many friends tackling by the hair. Most rugby players have shorter hair.

I've been thinking the same thing. He is a different player since he cut his hair.

C'mon guys. P-Rob has played hot/cold all season. His haircut merely coincided with a couple of good games.

But if it helps convince other players to cut those hideous 2-foot dred's, I'm on board.

Ivory don't need a haircut, he needs a few more carries. He's running smarter and better than last year.

Yea I know. Trust me I certainly don't think that cutting one's hair makes them a better player. It just seemed funny that he finally put together a few good games after the dreds were cut. ;)

Well maybe there's some minute advantage to playing the game not worried about how cool your hair looks.

Maybe in a game where the slightest advantage helps, the removal of the "look at me I'm so cool" distraction actually increases focus on the task at hand resulting in a more consistent performance congruent with his skill level.

Or maybe he's just getting better.

He's Good With Hair...But If We Take Away A Cheap Option Of Keeping Him Down We May Have Something Here Lol

DjBlueBeast 01-02-2012 05:31 PM

AHHHHH!!

NO reminders of that - I see where RIcky was Ok & did a few things for our team but....

Ivory seems to have his head screwed on right unlike Ricky!!

Seer1 01-02-2012 06:14 PM

It makes him look even more crazed while he's knocking the other players on their a$$e$. Keep it. Robinson cut his to show he's serious. Ivory don't need to be serious, just crazy.

FireVenturi 01-02-2012 06:18 PM

Keep the hair!!! If he loses the hair, he loses his ability to truck the hell out of people.

OldMaid 01-02-2012 06:32 PM

I do not like the long hair, be it dreads, or straight and blond, or fluffy like the Somoan guys.
I really think it is dangerous. If pulled by their hair, accidently, it can be really dangerous.
You cannot see their names of their jerseys for the hair.

QBREES9 01-02-2012 11:46 PM

He's playing great. What ever he needs to get the job done.

WHO_DAT_CAT 01-03-2012 12:22 AM

Somehow I find myself a fan of end zone dances and associated penalty risk for the fun of it. But, not of offensive players giving an opposing D anything else to grab on it.

I don't know why this would be legal and a horse-collar not legal. It seems like it would be possible to really hurt a runner's neck by grabbing/yanking the hair. Anyway, hair will grow back, or you can get extensions for awhile.

I say cut it and dance in the end zone!!! Win, dance, again, win, .... etc.

Beastmode 01-03-2012 01:05 AM

This was the 3rd time this season I've seen a player pulled down by his hair. In years past it was a major faux pas but now it's becoming acceptable. One of the hair tackles cost a team a TD this season. If it happens in the playoffs and cost us a TD or possibly the game it would be a major embarrassmet not only to Ivory but to the fans.
