All my fault. everybody had MY #, and then I got stuck at the end of the St. Charles line.

we'll get it right for the NFCCG.

btw, I recommend Uptown, and the St. Charles, but just allow some extra time. Those cars do a lot of stopping. Awesome experience, though.

We were going to do that the first time we played Detroit back in December but after waiting 30 minutes for a streetcar I said screw it and we walked. Never did see a streetcar pass the whole time walking. Don't have much faith in public transportation in Louisiana especially on Saints gameday. One funny story on that. Back in 87 when we made the playoffs for the first time, after the game when we clinced, the ferry by my house was shutdown because none of the deck hands showed up for work that evening. They were still partying.

My apologies for not getting to meet up with you Mike and Buds. I met Guido and his wife Saturday noon for lunch and they gave me a tour of the Quarter. We had a great time. My thanks to you and your wife Guido! You guys made my day. Right before the game, I got turned around and wandered off in the wrong direction, so I never made it to Allegro’s before the game. By the end of the game, my phone was dead, so I was blind and deaf. With no way to contact anyone I would have been wandering aimlessly. I will be back, and we will try again. I had a great time in NOLA. With all the fans in town, all the activities going on, all the things to see and do, it was a great day. Keep an eye out. I have a few pics to post.

Oh it felt so good to finally be back in New Orleans and in the Superdome this weekend. Sometimes you just know when your "home".

We (dad, bro, me) get to the quarter about 2 ish, walk around and go eat. Well go back to car, its towed. We spent an hour under I-10 dealing with that mess and then made it to the dome about 4:30. Hung outside the dome till the doors opened, watched the second half of the Texans game inside the dome

We enjoyed it too, Hulka! We were happy to show you around. By the time we finished our traditional post game meal at Coop's Place the wife and I were wiped out and not wanting to deal with the BCS crowd. Besides, it was pretty late by then and we had partied pretty hardy at the Old Opera House the night before.

you know, we were WIPED too. We made our way over to the QUARTER at the edge of Canal, did a little walking, and guess you guys were done for the day... and my wife said pretty much the same thing... a nice party is fine, but we werent in the mood for 20 year old
screaming people. we'll get to town at a decent hour for the NFCCG!
