Clearly I missed it ... Where in this article does he say it is "overrated?"

Ask Mike Tripplette

I agree, he spoke nothing of it being overrated. Even Payton and Brees remarked it wasn't an edge even for them. Mike has made a "look at this" headline out of nothing but respectful comments by each side.

Well, that is just crazy . . . who is 'Mike Tripplette' and what planet does he report from? We in Detroit realize that not only do the Saints have playoff experience, but they have SuperBowl experience and that counts for quite a lot. We're looking to veterans like Nate Burleson and Kyle VandenBosch to show some leadership in this area. I think what you got here is another media person writing for sensationalism instead of just reporting the facts

go Lions.

Thats Time Of My Life I Won't Get Back!!!....Thanks Mike

I've only met one lions fan and he is just as c0cky as this over rated Lions team. Can't wait to shut my friend up and the Lions.

Mike Triplett is one of the Saints beat writers with the Times-Picayune. He is a quality level headed writer, as is Jeff Duncan, the other main Saints beat man. They are among the best in the business.
