Your Lions have made some very good personel moves the last few years. Personally I hate your owners and hope they never see a championship while they own the team so here's hoping they sell soon.

In our first meeting we were still jelling on the O &D-Lines. We've faced great D-Linemen for a long time, Julius Peppers, Jared Allen, John Abraham just to name a few and I don't think Shu will give us that much trouble, and if he does, we'll just alter our drops and passes and mix in some runs to slow things down. We didn't have Ivory playing the first time around either and he's better than Ingram, also, if I'm not mistaken we didn't have Colston either and we'll have both this time around.

Defensively, we've gotten better at stopping the run and tackling in general. We've also begun to get some signifigant snaps from Dunbar, Martez Wilson, Isa Abdul Quddus, Johnny Patrick, and even Patrick Robinson has picked up his play over the last 4 games so I think our coverage will be even better than the last time we played. Malcolm Jenkins has been out a while and will be rested and ready to get after it so it'll be pretty much all hands on deck.

Not saying you don't have a good team but the Saints are on a mission and I don't believe they're going to let anyone stand in their way.

We don't do alot of double coverage. Graham and Sproles are scary.

The thing about trying to take megatron out of the game, is our young QB will find other players. Last time we faced each other, Matt threw to 10 different guys, for over 400 yards.

If I remember correctly, the Lions sacked Brees 3 times WITHOUT Suh in there, and Fairley had one, and he was only in the game for about a quarter. I'm not worried about it, we will get our pressure on Brees.
How has he done against top 5 OL? He didn't play against you guys, and against the Falcons and Raiders, he had a sack a piece vs them. You don't think he's going to take it easy during a playoff game, do you? Suh is a freak, I don't care how much weight the guy has against him. My bet is on Suh.

No, our O-line has not had injuries, not sure what they use for "stats" for o-line, but if how well we run is in there, that's why we're 17th. We don't have a running game. none, nada, zilch.

Welcome to the site Jokeray!

First off, let me start out by saying it is great to see the Lions becoming a "Power" in the NFL. I am a Barry Sanders fan. IMHO he is the best RB EVER.

I think the Lions have gotten alot of bad press with the team being "Overly aggressive". The way I look at it, the Lions have been the "Joke" team to the other NFL teams for so long that NOW, the Lions are making sure these other teams know who just punched them in the mouth and slapped their momma. I think they have the right to "Strut" around. Same as the Saints. Lets face it... both the Saints and Lions fans have suffered through a whole lotta losing. Vikings players and fans still call the Saints dirty players.

We (The Saints and the fans), have gone from chumps to Champs in only a few years. I wish the same for Detroit. Just not at the cost of a Saints loss. :-P

I for one do not count this game as an easy win. This will be a tough game.

Best of luck to y'all and make sure you come back to this site on game day and click on the "LIVE" tab. It's a chat room always good for a laugh.

Again, welcome to the BEST Saints site on the net!

I will definately try to stop by the live chat during the game. Don't worry, I have think skin...hell, I'm a Lions fan, I can take some abuse!

If things don't go the Lions way on Saturday night, I will be cheering for the Saints the rest of the way.
