Brees led New Orleans to an undefeated 5-0 record in the month as the Saints polished off their regular season on an 8-game winning streak. In the process, Brees broke several NFL records and extended some he already held, including becoming the most prolific and efficient passer in football history. The first record belonged to former Miami signal caller Dan Marino since 1984; the second was one Brees set back in 2008.
