Do saint fans consider GB a rival

Just wondering if you guys think were a rival? I think its becoming a heated rivalry.

CantonLegend 01-09-2012 10:51 PM

Only in the sense that we are the best 2 teams in the league

I don't hate the packers. I don't root them on either

They are just an obstacle on our way to the Lombardi

Arodgers12 01-09-2012 10:53 PM

Honestly if we lose. The only team I can pull for is the 49ers. Classy team and organization. I hate the rest of the NFC. I always liked Atlanta but their out now.

lynwood 01-09-2012 10:53 PM

No. Outside of the division I'd say Vikings and Chicago.

No, your just an ill informed teen who needs more WOW time, and has nothing better to do. Move back to smack where we can deal with you properly :)

Saintsfan4ever 01-09-2012 11:00 PM

I would say GB has become a recent rivalry.
Yeah. I'm sick of hearing about how great Aaron Rogers is while Brees is breaking every record in the Universe. I'm sick of the GB players commercials every time I turn on my TV. I'm sick of GB period. I want a rematch!
But don't feel too bad, we'll probably never hate you as much as we do the Foulcans.

Arodgers12 01-09-2012 11:04 PM

I feel the same about the Saints and Brees broke all the records in garbage time as well when they were already up by 30. I hope you guys do hate us. If were hated that means were good. To repeat again and everyone pulling against us makes us feel awesome.

73Saint 01-09-2012 11:09 PM

No.

lumm0x 01-09-2012 11:09 PM

Green Bay is not a rival.

Some confused kid has wandered in here though.

FinSaint 01-09-2012 11:13 PM

No as a Saints fan.

Yes as a Vikings fan.

Arodgers12 01-09-2012 11:19 PM

You guys are a great football team there is no denying that.

Saintsfan4ever 01-09-2012 11:21 PM

GB is never going to suck too bad as long as we keep sending you our local talent. Favre put GB on the map, and now you have Tramon Williams, Howard Green, and Matt Flynn. And not to forget Donald Driver from Alcorn.

so Brees breaks Marinos record for most yards in a season and your only argument is "It was in garbage time?" Seriously?!

I don't have time to list all his other records, but feel free to research them on wikipedia...

Arodgers12 01-09-2012 11:25 PM

It would be great to see the Saints and Packers become a rivalry like the Colts and Pats was.

Answering the question posed in the title: NO!

Arodgers12 01-09-2012 11:29 PM

I hope rodgers can have those records someday soon.

I dont think so. It would probably be even. The colts got the better of that rivalry as the years went on. You guys probably would own us in the dome but we would get ya in Lambeau every time.

Well, we'll see about that if the Giants won't take care of you before that, and hopefully the refs won't blow as many calls this time around.

Great, thanks.

Now go back and talk to your cheesehead homies.

We will see how the season plays out. I'm betting you don't get by the Giants again.

why Lambeau a myth, we already went over stats about that months ago. Your not dominate at Lambeau in the playoffs at all. In fact you have losing record. You need to look into that.

RockyMountainSaint 01-10-2012 12:00 AM

Arodgers12, please mature before posting here.

Arodgers12 01-10-2012 12:17 AM

Just asking a simple question. Why you guys so sensitive? Im not trolling at all.

Arodgers12 01-10-2012 12:18 AM

And the Giants are going to get pasted on Sunday.

I wouldn't be so sure, on any given Sunday any team can win. Besides; didn't you beat them by only a fg with them having some injuries?

SAINTstunna 01-10-2012 12:27 AM

not a rivalry but if greenbay keeps playing at a high level, then a game we would ENJOY winning.

They are a huge problem Arodgers12, they probably have the best front 4 in the NFL, and they are used to the weather.
You barely beat them, and we kicked the snot out of them, and we still fear them more than SF.

No.

Arodgers12 01-10-2012 12:49 AM

I hate the Giants so to lose this sunday would hurt. If we lose to the Giants then I hope the Saints blow them out.

wether you hate them or not their front 4 are massive, and your OL is horrible, worse than the falcons. They will be coming for rogers. We even worry about Brees and our OL might be the best in the NFL. You have your hands full this sunday.

We get Clifton, Bulaga and Sitton back so we should be fine. I dont think our O line is worse then Atlanta. The Giants dont scare me, if they did then why play the game.
