Thumbs down Lance Moore & John Gilmore out for Saturday's game

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Lance Moore (hamstring) and tight end John Gilmore (toe) have been ruled out of Saturday's game against the San Francisco 49ers.

Neither Moore nor Gilmore practiced this week.

Linebacker Jonathan Vilma rested his sore knee Thursday but practiced Wednesday and coach Sean Payton believes he will play. Vilma does not appear on the Saints' injury report.

Safety Roman Harper tweaked his ankle this week but practiced Thursday and is hopeful of being able to play. He's probable.

Linebacker Jonathan Casillas (knee) is questionable

I know we can win without Lance, but something uncomfortable about being without him.

I'm sure Drew feels the same.

Yeah, this blows chunks, but we've proven we can keep it going.

Get better Lance.

I am hopeful that we can see Gregg's secret weapons: Casillas, Martez, Cam and Junyah!

Shock and awe!

Alex Smith gets hit all day!

5+ sacks for the Saints!

We'll need him for the Packer game.

BTW, Moore missed the 1st Packer game because of injury.

I hate that Moore is out, he gives us another reliable weapon. We can win w/o him but he sure would make it easier for us.
