When I was a kid growing up in the 70's my father (god rest his soul) was a big 49ers fan. Not only did I have to endure their dominance in our division for close to 2 decades of my life, but I had to endure the continuous presence of ridicule right in my face at home. Sorry dad. These SanFran 49's are NOT the 49's of class, quality people like the 49's of Montana, Young, Rice and the others during those years. These 49's are not even like those under 49's qb Steve Youngs' days.
I think they are Oakland Raiders fans who spilled over to that team.
