a few observations:::

why was Drew allowed to be hit so much...a few of those would have been penalties if Tom Brady was th QB

the hit on PT was helmet to helmet...idk if it was intentional but it was penalty worthy

GW has run his course here...del rio or preferably spags for next year

No disagreement on any of those. We're where the Pats were last year: making the playoffs easily, but not winning. Looking a little older, a little slower, and a little less hungry than up-and-coming teams that had more to prove. It'll be interesting to see if they turn it around this year (right now they're spanking the mess out of Denver). But hey, Superbowls are hard to come by. Just ask Atlanta ;-)

I had some thoughts at the helmet to helmet on PT too - and a few others. At the end of that game though the only ones to blame are the Saints. The refs didn't cough the ball up all over the place, and the Refs didn't allow Davis to roam free in the secondary with the game on the line.

I know right!! Harper hit A.Smith helmet to helmet and they didn't call it at all. Refs were slacking!!

Saints gave San Fran the game. Let's see where it gets them. That should be all you need to post here for from now until the niners get stomped in New Orleans next year.

49ers should be ashamed of themselves; 5 turnovers and you only win by 4...

But on the flip side of that, their strong suit, defense, came up big, and their weak suit, offense, didn't let them down when it mattered most. The opposite is true for us.
