a few observations:::
why was Drew allowed to be hit so much...a few of those would have been penalties if Tom Brady was th QB the hit on PT was helmet to helmet...idk if it was intentional but it was penalty worthy GW has run his course here...del rio or preferably spags for next year W smith has nothing left Where was gallet? didnt here his name at all Cam jordan??? i sure hope he gets better Vilma is gonna be gone...and we need LB's how was the d-line beating our protection every time with only rushing 4? J graham is AWESOME WE NEED PASS RUSH... |

No disagreement on any of those. We're where the Pats were last year: making the playoffs easily, but not winning. Looking a little older, a little slower, and a little less hungry than up-and-coming teams that had more to prove. It'll be interesting to see if they turn it around this year (right now they're spanking the mess out of Denver). But hey, Superbowls are hard to come by. Just ask Atlanta ;-)

I had some thoughts at the helmet to helmet on PT too - and a few others. At the end of that game though the only ones to blame are the Saints. The refs didn't cough the ball up all over the place, and the Refs didn't allow Davis to roam free in the secondary with the game on the line.

REALLY?!!!! We did NOTHING that GOT US HERE. How is that? The 49ers were nothing special. We changed EVERYTHING on offense and we got LUCKY on occasion. I'm gonna say it - for as many yards as he has, Darren Sproles is the WORST return man ever. He has a magnetic attraction to the 20-yard line. All season. Develop someone who can get beyond the 30 someday. Boy oh boy did we miss Lance. OH BOY. Drew acted as if he didn't even recognize Arrington's routes. Where was the Meachem post that works EVERY game?! Slant? Those reverses that we all hate, well, they disappeared against the only team that may have over-pursued them! Only ONE team can win it all. And the remaining four DON'T have Drew Brees. How's that? O-line OVERWHELMED most of the day. I mean, what do you do? But Drew acted as if he's never been out of a pocket before and that was frustrating. Porter. Please LEAVE. You're done, we're done, I'm done. Let's stay away from the Heisman trophy winner for a while, what do you say? GET LINEBACKERS. Alaska I'm DONE with Vilma as the LEADER of our field defense. Don't have to be done with Williams, he's gone anyway. Probably wanted to get away quick, so he sent EVERY player defense-left so Smith would have an open sideline to the end zone. |

Tight tough game today right to the end probably the most competitive game we will see this weekend. Just don't see the need for Trolls here it takes away the respect for a good team like the 49ers.
