The Best Medicine...

As hard as this loss is to digest, coming on here with my fellow WhoDats and reading the thoughts of you all (well most of you anyway) helps to heal the pain. Rather than just sulk about it, it is better to talk about it and get it out of our system. Because we all know that we will be here come draft time to see who our future might be, during free agency to see who the FO plucks out of nowhere, and come the beginning of the season to cheer our beloved Saints on to victory. WHO DAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm still reeling. All those shat-talkers were absolutely right on most points about their defense and our inability to win a road game in the playoffs. It doesn't need to make sense if it just happens that way time after time.

I had a great time this year, but my emotional investment came up short.

I'm pulling AFC from here on out. Hate to say that, but there's just too many bad NFC memories to adhere my support to any of these NFC teams.

I'll be pulling for Eli From here on out. Well, until one second after the SB that is. I just hope he makes it that far.

I'm with you, Alaska. Except that I'm not watching any NFL at all for a while. It would be like eating cardboard. One last note. Our defense has been underachieving for quite a while. Could it be that we have better talent than our performance would appear to indicate? Who would perform better with a movement away from gimmicks and a rabbit-out-of-the-hat defensive scheme. We may not have to change too much more than a defensive coordinator.
