Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda...

The Giants are gonna beat the Packers...

...man o man this really hurts...

arsaint 01-15-2012 06:48 PM

You said a mouthful - we choked deluxe.

Should be hosting a NFCCG and beating NYG 41-27 on the way to the Superbowl.

HOW IN THE HELL DID WE BLOW A GAME TWICE IN THE LAST 4 MINUTES????????? :(

Hayduke 01-15-2012 06:48 PM

Ya, we would have crushed the Giants in the Dome.

saintsfan1976 01-15-2012 06:51 PM

Williams is gone for sure now

This is what make the sickness in my stomach bearable.

Salt on the wound...........

I think it is time.

2009 was more about a healthy Darren Sharper than Gregggggggggg Williams.

That's what happens when you have a defense like ours.

arsaint 01-15-2012 06:59 PM

I just don't understand why you call the D any different in the last 4 minutes than you did in the 3rd and early 4th quaurter when we were shutting them down.

lumm0x 01-15-2012 07:15 PM

We could have been hosting the NFC Championship.....uggggghhhh

OldMaid 01-15-2012 07:16 PM

But we won't think of any of that.
I won't think of what I had wished too... NYG and NO Saints in NFC Champ Conf with the Saints winning and Saints and NE in SB in Indy in Colts ' house. Having the Colts roll out the red carpet and host the Saints. Oh well.
Saints beating two Mannings and one Brady.
Well, it was a nice dream that did not come true.

HOWEVER, I am feeling a lil happy bitterness called revenge!!
N.O. boy ,Eli and NYG are going to smash the umm, umm, that team from CA.

halloween 65 01-15-2012 07:22 PM

Let me say first, I hate we lost. Now I live here in Cheese land and with the Giants beating Pretty Boy Rodgers that gave me great pleasure to watch them take them down. We will host the Superbowl next year in the Dome just watch.

W. Kovacs 01-15-2012 07:23 PM

Sick to my stomach...just miserable right now...

And being a New Yorker I'm surrounded by incorrigible Giants fans which is NOT helping...

At least we don't have to see Aaron Rodgers' smug face any more until next season...

If you've been around long enough, or if you just had your cherry broke...losing to the 49'ers in the waning minutes by changing your defense is an old story...:dunce:

And next year we could have repeated in our house...:violin:

OldMaid 01-15-2012 07:31 PM

But New Orleans boy ,Eli, is going to take the 49's out of this.
Buh-bye to them.
Still, a lil, slight, N.O. conection there. Claim that something to make us Saints fans feel a lil bit better.

Been there before - was just hoping that this was not going to be a repeat of history...

TopCow 01-15-2012 07:56 PM

Also makes the loss to St. Louis more repulsive.

CharityMike 01-15-2012 09:41 PM

Like said..salt on the eff'n wound. Though honestly, one side of me is glad that homo Rodgers is out. I hopefully can stop seeing those stupid Sate Farm commercials. The other side is the obvious, would have been nice to play NYG in the dome.

jeanpierre 01-15-2012 10:05 PM

Hate New York, Hate New York, but loyalty is loyalty and I'm pulling for Archie's Boy...

Ain't that the truth. My memories of all that are long and very deep.

alleycat_126 01-16-2012 10:28 PM

Here's shoulda, coulda, woulda..... I think it would have been better if Jimmy had fallen at the five yard line.

AlaskaSaints 01-16-2012 11:18 PM

Wrong, Alleycat, because we COULD NEVER lose this game AGAIN, with only 1:37 remaining. I mean WHO DOES THAT?

Goodbye Greg Williams. I am on record in the past seeking his replacement. We had a BOTTOM-tier defense all year, for God's sake!!!

And defenses win championships. Everyone knows that. S.F. Giants Ravens to name a few.

Watching NFL32 for some reason.

Giants players are talking about how relieved they are not to have to come to the Dome.

The Saints were totally in their heads; we had already won the first battle against the Giants. I can't believe we couldn't close it out against the Niners...

Jeez...
