I dont know about this one!!

So, New Orleans Saints fans. Are you still in a funk?

Yeah me, too.

The Saints' mind-blowing loss to the San Francisco 49ers last Saturday, preceded by LSU's stupefying BCS championship game loss to Alabama five days earlier, has been dubbed by some local diehards The Worst Sports Week Ever. A brutal blow. A death in the family. Like "Shark Week," if you're chum.

Undoubtedly, today's NFC championship game between the 49ers and New York Giants -- The Team We Had in the Bag vs. The Team We Crushed Like a Bug -- will serve only to pour more pepper into the Who Dat Nation's bleeding heart.

Poor, pitiful us.

At least we all know we're on a very short list for Superbowl favorite in 2012.

We're locked and loaded.

I am SO going to enjoy going to work tomorrow. I'm just going to grin while I'm making my hot chocolate in the midst of all those Whiner fans.

Oh how sweet it shall be.

Ask them who won the game; that should get the farty-whiners to run their pie-holes!!

Like I said, can't wait to see him with his mouth open.

Totally happened.

I think I saw some flies fly in.

I'm not upset about the game. If it had been a blow out I might still be, but it was one of the best games I've ever seen. We had 5 (should have been 6) turnovers and we were one play away from beating the Giants this weekend and going back to the Super Bowl. I like where this team is headed. I'm focusing my efforts and psychic energy on the draft and free agency.

I am still disappointed by the loss to the 49ers.

But then again I still have bitter memories of how we used to lose by 3pts, 2 pts, 1pt to them way back when we were in the same division.

I just looked it up and teams that beat us in playoffs are 1-5 in their next game. Only Minnesota in 1988 won after beating us (our first franchise playoff appearance). And among those 5 losses I mentioned is the Giants 41-0 beatdown of the Vikings in 2001.

Get out of our way or you will pay :)
