I didn\'t mean to upset you with my opinion of the Saints picks. I should have given reason but didn\'t feel it necessary at the time as I was just making a statement.

Vilma is the best linebacker in the draft, no doubt, and he is someone I\'d love to see sporting a fleur de lis. But I don\'t think that two mid-level to lower-level CBs make up for one top-level CB. And yes I have heard of them, for one thing I go to the Senior Bowl every year. I think one of the top three CBs will be there at 18, hopefully. If so we can pick up Darryl Smith or Rod Davis in the second. They are both good middle linebackers. In the third round I think we would be better picking up a RB or OT than a center. Remember that Bentley played center in college and Haslett has talked about him being the future center.

I do have to compliment you on going through three whole rounds. I did a one round mock and it took me two days.
I wasn\'t upset, I just wanted a reason as to why you thought what you thought.

Anyway, as I have said a bunch of times, the top three CB\'s aren\'t much better than the guys that will go in the 2nd round. The only one I would use the 18th overall pick on is Gamble, because he has tons and tons of potential.

I thought about an OT in the 3rd but no one really jumped out at me. And a RB would be something we could take in the 5th round. Signing Stecker means we don\'t have a huge need there anymore and I can\'t see spending a 3rd rounder on a 3rd string RB. I hate the idea of moving Bentley to center...I think we would be much better off moving Jacox over but if we could get a Nick Leckey in the 3rd...why move either? Ya know.

Round 5 - Derek Knight - RB - Boston College
Round 6 - Carl Diggs - LB - Michigan
Round 7 - Maurice Brown - WR - Iowa

Think Seattle will go offensive line in the second round now that they have signed Taylor?

Once again, as hard as it is, I gotta agree. I\'ve never had this problem in the past, cause the few people I didn\'t care for that posted, didn\'t know what they were talking about, so they made it real easy. I was in the minority when I made a similar statement as the one above, on another site. It\'s hard arguing against the majority, even though it goes without saying that your opinion is the correct one, which is always is (not counting the two exceptions I have every year).
On another note, I still think we could use some youth on the offensive line and some size on the interior defensive line. I like Leckey in the 4th, give him a few years with a pro team, and he will be a starter for a long time to come, regardless of whether he plays center or guard. Love his aggressive nature.
