Rivers gives props to Sproles and the Saints.
 

If you don't want to watch the whole video, it's at 3:40. He mentions that he did miss Sproles this season but is glad that he went to a team with an offense like the Saints.

I watched this last night. Very Cool. Rivers did miss him.

Yeah. Drew's success over there did not surprise me at all (though his shoulder injury was questionable at the time). Sproles last season here was not good and I did not expect him to rebound the way he has.

Really his last year with the chargers wasn't that good. I really don't remember. I wonder if will pick up any of your cast off this year. LOL.

Well, considering that our Special Teams really struggled that season, he did contribute. Something he kept doing constantly on punt returns was taking his eye off the ball and looking ahead before catching it. Which sometimes resulted to fumbles. I was just like "dammit, if there's too many defenders, just call fair catch." LOL
He was still pretty good at running and receiving but not as good as the prior seasons.

As for my cast, hearing this interview and seeing the kind of player that Rivers is made me feel good BUT, he wanted Norv back. So the way I see it... "Philip, you got your coach back, now get us to the Super Bowl!" Whatever happens this season is on him!

Now he can't take his eye off the 20-yard-line and dives on it every time he comes near it.
