I think Scam played the whole second half because nobody else wanted to be out there, risking injury. I definitely got the same exact vibe from watching Drew that he gives off in preseason games -- very intense, fiercely competitive, extremely purposeful, but it's also like "I want to get my drive together, get my passing TD, and get back to the bench and the baseball cap as soon as possible."

Yup. Especially after he got injured in the PB, what, 5 years ago or thereabouts?

I loved seeing him, Graham, Bushrod, and Nicks out there competing (they were the only reason I watched) but at the same time, I was thinking: "take it EASY, Fellas!"

I couldn't believe Can't Newton was selected to the ProBowl in front of Matthew Stafford ... that kid had a ProBowl year and did far more for his team then Newtbomb did for the Panthers ... politics are alive and well in the NFL ...
