I thought porter would only get better after the second season, he had like 8 picks in the regular season and a pick of both favre and manning in both massive spots in the playoffs

Since then he has regressed, I don't know if it's because of GW's scheme so I'd be Willing to see what spags can do with him, if there's no improvement trade him, unless he wants to leave in FA then fair dues

I thought he did great...

He had a lot of great plays, blowing up screens and quick screen.

Those Ints from that one season was due to Super man Sharper. When you have someone behind you coaching you up what to do on given plays that is BIG.

You don't get pressure up front it will limit your oppitunities to jump routes. I totally put GW at fault for the mess of the last two years and waiting to see how this change on D is going to affect everyone. I see Porter staying for several reason's. He's actually pretty good... don't look at the stats.
The other reason he is from Louisiana and a Saints fan. You pay me legit money I won't leave my favorite team even if its a little less keep me playing close to home.

Keep him if we can make him 1) press cover, and 2) not dive at feet to make a tackle.

The ultimate smegma defensive player.

Whatever is the ultimate truth, going to Minnesota = going to nowhere.

Hey, I take umbrage at that!

...and I still think that they'd be fine without Porter, since Patrick could be the nickel, but SP has that tendency to load up on the CBs, so they might want to keep him around.
