Ye ole delay tactic to confuse and disorient the quicker O-linemen.

I must have been thinking of that mama's boy that played so well, or Tom Johnson.

It must've been Mitch King 'cause Johnson was hurt in that SF game's 2nd quarter and didn't play in the pre-season after that.

The problem with King is that he isn't big/heavy enough to create a push (6-2, 280) against the opposing O-linemen and he isn't tall enough to disrupt the passes if he doesn't get to the QB (kinda the problem with Ellis too).

It's really a shame since he does seem to have a great motor and a relentless attitude... GW just didn't find a good way to use him in his schemes, but maybe Spags can find a way to tap into his potential.

Man wouldn't that be freaking awesome, if he turns out like a Colston or Graham! A steal in the draft

Hope spags can turn this kid

IIRC, Romeus was compared to that kid Tampa took a risk on. His name escapes me right now.

Da'quan Bowers.
Romeus has some pretty good looking highlights. I would love to see him stay healthy and produce.

Or do you mean the former teammate of the Saints' LB Jeremiha Hunter - Adrian Clayborn - DE that Tampa drafted last year, and who suffers from Erb's Palsy?

Granted, Da'Quan Bowers also had those injury concerns, which is why he dropped in the draft, both of them were considered risks, and both turned out well worth taking such a risk.

But you gotta love Romeus' size and movement - looking at that video he brings to mind JPP from the Giants.
