I think the drop-off would be minimal. Especially considering we likely sign a WR around the 4 million range that fits what we need.

And Colston knows this, so his 'no hometown discount' may be a bluff.

Unless Brees asks for a ridiculous amount, the Saints will pay him what he wants/is worth.

Nicks will stay because he protects Brees.

Unless Colston goes for money, I believe he will stay with the Saints.

He has to realize that he was (potentially), 1:37 minutes away from is 2nd Super Bowl appearance and most likely win.

Staying with the Saints gives him his best shot at getting to his 2nd Super Bowl.
