Anyways, the Harper debate aside...

Can't see the Saints not signing another Safety in the event that Harper and/or Jenkins could be facing suspension over Bountygate...

If these players are our projected roster after training camp, we stand at a count 51...

See at least one if not two more cornerbacks...

...or one more offensive lineman and a cornerback...

...or one more tight end and a cornerback...

...not sure we keep two fullbacks - that could be where the third tight end comes from? Unless continue the Tackle eligible play...

...now top end heavy at LB; one, maybe two more LB's than needed - doesn't mean we can't continue to improve there...

...especially if Martez Wilson makes the move to defensive end...

...the FA linebackers have definitely improved the roster...

...but, who's still out there that we really need to add?

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

Should Martez Wilson move down to DE, there are a number of ways that could shake out...

We could see Cam Jordan slide to Sedrick's spot and see Ellis traded, but given his contract status, I doubt we'd see him cut/released...

Also, despite redoing his contract, Will Smith could fall under the salary cap reapers blade...

Really looking forward to training camp and what Spagnuolo does with his redone front seven...

Defensive Back

Rod Hood seemed like a candidate for depth at CB and would be one of Spagnuolo's former players/system guys - the fact he's not brought in yet is...curious

Elbert Mack is 26 years old and the Saints are staying with youth at CB; can only hope we get at least two more years out of Greer who's been our franchises most underrated free agent ever...

Think we draft the best CB available and probably in the third round...

Wonder if the Saints would consider bringing in a Safety in light of pending player suspensions; presumptious, but Harper is the name mentioned right after Vilma's in those discussions...

Be nice if Goodell would resolve this prior to the draft...

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

Defensive Back

Porter departure, though not the end of the world as has been overstated by ignorant media types, does leave a void/need for depth at CB...

Harper's likely suspension will command attention depending on the length of the suspension...

Linebacker

Shanle and/or Herring are likely casualties - though neither are burdensome to the salary cap; Casillas found no love on the market for an oft-injured linebacker and will likely sign his tender...

Vilma, as is suggested, may be out for as many as eight (8) games; he could use the rest and will have only half is salary against the cap because of same...

Is Martez Wilson to remain a 4-3 linebacker or does he get moved to DE/PRLB?

This group seems to have improved on paper - Front Office finally gets something done as they should have last season...

Defensive Line

It's contract year for Ellis - hope we benefit from his production, he signs a tender for another team and we reap the draft pick compensation.

Romeus health and progression will be a key component to the rotation of the defensive ends...

Does Junyah actuate his potential?

Will Smith will likely get another four (4) game suspension and a salary cap savings...

Where is the Cam Jordan from last season's Senior Bowl Week? Does he get moved to DT?

Can Bunkley provide some leadership by example to the other DL?

Wide Receiver

Meachem's departure should allow Arrington and Morgan a wonderful opportunity to step up and contribute...

Is Lance Moore going to work harder to stay healthy or is he complacent with where he is in his career?

Tight End

Surprised we didn't sign another free agent here; must have someone in the draft the scouting dept likes...

Offensive Line

Considering the pending investment in Brees, it is really surprising Offensive Line, especially Tackle hasn't been addressed...

Running Back

Hope all is healthy and ready to roll - definitely one of the strengths of the team and one of the best in the league...

Quarterback

Brees

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

I think that if there are some picks for the offensive side on this year's draft, they might very well be for a T and a TE, but defense should be the main focus with the draft.

I think Quaddus takes Jenkins spot at FS this season. And we draft a corner and DT and the rest will be on the O.

Quaddus has two flash plays all season and we are willing to dump Jenkins................. Ooookkkayy..

I dont get the hate for our DBs. Playing in GWs scheme and not being able to get to the QB would make Revis look awful as well.

I am a known critic of Harper's game...

However - how good would our DB's be with a "respectable" pass rush?

And I'd like to see our personnel under Spagnuolo's guidance -even Harper concrete feet, bad angles, water balloon hits and all...
