I'd take him on the cheap, but that's just me. It's very, very doubtful we make a run at Randy.

I think that the Brees, Payton - maybe Vilma if he stays - regime can sorta tame him + he could win a ring in New Orleans. So maybe a minimum contract with a lot of incentives (winning superbowl, yards and TD, not stopping on plays etc.) might make something work.

As for now I would like to see these things happening to our WR core:

1. resign Colston, if not draft Rueben Randle
2. let Henderson go, but keep Meachom
3. Work out Morgan and Arrington in Camp and see if they can step up

NO, he's got Patriot colored glasses. No way he plays unless he plays for them.

Just me, I am over with arrington. it has taken way too long, I would be looking for some new blood for the recieving core in the last few rounds of the draft.

I keep every reciever I can who knows the system, accept arrington, and Roby. If Meachum wants Tampa Bay cap or Jacksonville cap money then I let him go, but last I checked he wants to remain a Saint so I keep him. I work out Morgan who I think maybe should have made the team last season and barring some sort of injury will probably beat out Roby for the last WR spot.

Morgan was IRed because of the knee injury he suffered (I think it was the 3rd pre-season game) and was, therefore, "redshirted" for the remainder of the season.

I would touch Moss I think I said that many time but I can't wait to see what this guy Morgan can do.

Think we are full reciever wise. Unless something is going on as far as a trade for some our our recievers I say keep what we have.

subguy 02-14-2012 07:06 AM

Without overstating the obvious about Moss being well past prime, I am not sure his quirky personality would have a place on a Sean Payton team.

Randle will probably go in the first round so no chance at him.
Agree with Meachem over Henderson but Henderson is under contract.
I think Morgan will be fine still don't see anything in Arrington as of yet.
And lastly HELL NO on Moss. He takes too many plays off when he doesn't get the ball or when he's not the primary call and how many plays does Drew check down to his 4th or 5th option.

NO!

biloxi-indian 02-14-2012 08:36 AM

According to Moss, he still runs a 4.3 40. That's if he is not taking the play or game off!

I pass (no pun intended). :)

FinSaint 02-14-2012 09:02 AM

Although he was one of my favorite players in the Vikings back in the day, I hope he signs with the Cowgirls.

he was upset that dallas passed on him in the draft...i dont think he will go there...if we lose out on colston i think he could wind up here...

correct me if i'm wrong but RM does not have a SB ring...im sure he is set for life with money but if he wants a ring(and the pats dont want him) I think he could be a saint next year(if we dont sign MC)

The problem with Moss not having a SB ring is that he doesn't want to work for a SB ring ... I could see a team with nothing to play for signing him, but not a perennial contender like the Saints have become ... just my opinion, but I don't think he adds anything of value to the Saints roster.

Danno 02-14-2012 03:07 PM

I'd rather have Andy Tanner than that moron.

This team doesn't sign team killers.

jnormand 02-14-2012 05:56 PM

Damnit! Not again! NO!!! No disrespect to anyone here but why the hell would you want this POS on our team?! He complains, he whines, he takes plays off, he's bad for the locker room....Moss can go play for the Toronto Argonauts or whatever the hell they are called. This team does not need a team killer. You know what...let him go play for the Bengals. They like washed up ******* WR's.
