4 starting RB's is BEYOND a luxury... does another NFL team have even 3?
We continue to spend money on offense, and then we cannot stop Hasselback or Smith, or whoever started for the Rams.
These guys are being talked about as trade bait because we have needs elsewhere, and money is very tight this year

Ivory will have a cap hit of $490K next season, so it's not like trading him will create cap room - only reason to trade him would be if the roster spot was desperately needed for someone else.
Sproles' cap hit for 2012 will be around $3.5M, PT's cap hit will be $2.3M, and Ingram's cap hit will be around $810K.
They're all very affordable for what they can (and consistently do) bring to the field every single week and, therefore, there isn't much money to be saved on that front.
Also I could imagine it being fairly expensive if the Saints had to bring in another good/great RB during the season if they were to run into some injury problems, and had earlier let one of these RBs go.
