Ivory a trade candidate?

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Yep, Ingram missed half of his rookie season but he is a iron man. You may be the only Saints fan alive that thinks Ingram outpayed Ivory...

Ingram had 474 yards on 122 carries his rookie year.

Ivroy had 716 yards on 137 carries his rookie year.

Its called simple math

Simple is the correct word for that math.

The situation was quite different when Ivory had his rookie carries as opposed to Ingram's carries this past season - many of which were in short yardage situations mind you.

Just looking at those numbers alone will never give you a fair assessment of their individual rookie seasons.

Also, I don't know if Danno was as much stating that Ingram outplayed Ivory, but that with Ivory's injury history he has very limited trade value.

Who are you quoting? I didn't see anyone say either of those things.

Are you making stuff up or did I miss something?

Ingram and Thomas are Brett Favre-like ironmen compared to Ivory.
That is exactly what you said.

No it isn't. I was comparing their injury history throughout their entire careers. I was comparing THAT to Ingram and Thomas.

I wouldn't get rid of Ivory until Ingram prove that he is worthy a first round pick.
