You have to have a completion, Brees is the quarterback, Colston or Meachem?

I hate trick questions, ... I suppose I would go to Colston, but I'd rather have the option of throwing to Jimmy Graham. :)

You had me at "Brees is the quarterback".

Colston, meachem would be drawing coverage downfield, Colston understands the subtle gaps in the zone coverage and where to settle. Him and Brees have the unspoken connection to get the much needed completion

The ball is put in there like a lazer beam the majority of the time for these guys. That ain't gonna happen anywhere else, or anywhere they are needed. I think teams know this fact. If I don't have a top tier QB I'm looking for WR's than can get open on their own or get creative. In that dept I'd rather have Moore or Henderson.

Brees does a really good job of spreading the ball around but I would like to see him try and get the ball to Meachem more often I think he has a special relationship with Colston and he locks in with him more often. That being said I think Meachem is quicker and more elusive than Colston. Thats not saying anything bad about Colston he is special. Just my opinion from my observations.

That is why Colston doesn't run up/fly/fade/go/corner/post routes.

If you ask me, there are number of speedsters around who can run those type of routes and create separation to the DBs, but the guys that run the intermediate routes like ins/outs/hooks/slants as well as Colston and commit their bodies in making those tough catches time after time - those guys are more rare and, therefore, very valuable.

But, I'm not saying that Meachem isn't a good receiver - only that he is more easily replaced than Colston.
