Gms will be negotiating under a new CBA. It takes time to research all the changes to the new cpa and Loomis is probably dotting all his i's and crossing all his ts making sure he gets the best deal in the most cap friendly way. It is a whole new ball game now, which is why you dont see any teams making major deals right . yet just a positive way of looking at it for all of you gloom and doomers.

More importantly, the salary cap for next season has not been officially announced yet, as have not been the official costs of franchise tags, so the FOs around the league want to get definite numbers before they commit to any new deals.

They should get these numbers within the next few days.

Everybody just needs to relax. It's going to be a domino effect. Brees, Colston then Nicks all will be sign by Monday night.

The countdown is on, and people are starting to get nervous. I'll be surprised if Loomis somehow finds the money to please everyone who's a FA this year. Someone will end up signing somewhere else, but I"m hoping it's not Nicks.

I'm sure of one thing the agents are more worried about their commission check than Drew is about his check.
