Bengals still lusting for Saints FAs
 

I think more than the Bungles are salavating over our FA's. We have great players.

Who would have thunkit, that teams would be wanting "Players" from the Saints. Great time to be a Saints fan!

Saints and the Bengals with their fan chants ("Who Dey" and "Who Dat"), if the Saints do not come to terms with Brees before Monday's deadline, he will get the franchise tag and it suddenly becomes increasingly difficult for the Saints to sign Carl Nicks. ESPN.com is reporting this morning that the Brees and the Saints are nowhere near an agreement and the likelihood of tagging Brees is very high.

This brees deal is getting ridiculous, it should have been sorted months ago, the guy is our franchise and we are making him frustrated with the team because he's going to get the franchise tag and not the deal he rightfully deserves

So right Sapper now I hope that will be the case with some good defensive players this year that want a ring. Lot of what we have now likes Sproles is because of Brees being here. Let some guys come here for a little less money than somewhere else and we are on our way to the SB again. Everyone is so tire of seeing our Saints put up 30+ points only to watch the D punk out.

Agreed, but it is a big deal and it's effects will be felt throughout the organization, so I can understand why it's taking this long. They could be more public with the fact the deal WILL GET DONE, but they also have an agent involved and that makes the situation slimy.
