Draft Surprise??? Here's my guess

If there is a surprise in the draft it has to be a WR in the 1st. Its feasible we can still get a solid LB and CB prospect with 2A and 2B and even 3. If Vilma, Hall and Robinson are gone it probably means there's a Roy/Reggie/Mike Williams available. It just might happen, and might not be a bad move, as long as 2A and 2B have CB/LB next to their names.

I agree with that, but there will be fan and media backlash beacause our defensive backfield (LB\'s and CB\'s) is the weakeast link on our team. The Saints would do themsleves well to just draft defense as long as they can in the draft.

I agree with the Saints taking all defense on day one of the draft...but at the same time, i would be kind of hard to not get pumped about adding a playmaker on offense. That way it gives you some breathing room with Stallworth\'s injuries. I would welcome Reggie Williams or Mike Clayton to the Saints if out next three picks were along the lines of Boulware, Strait, Smith, or Lehman....you never know.

I really been looking at the possibility myself the past couple of days. I think the possibility is there but the only problem I see is that I don\'t know if Has is is or feels he had the time to let one develop. I think they rather bring one in via FA then drafting one although unless he contends on \"best player at position\" concept. In later rounds sure he may.
