The Grinch who stole our dynasty

I want Gregg Williams head. On a stake.

jokeray 03-05-2012 01:27 PM

He should be the one who gets the worst of it. I don't think the players are gonna be penalized much at all.

I posted last week that, in my opinion, GW was behind all of this. He left for St. Louis with little fan fare. Sean Payton's general comments were basically "don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out."

Supposedly Benson provided the NFL with access to Saint's internal emails. Even if that is true no one in there right mind (and I'm stretching this in GW's case) would up and confess by apologizing. If you read his apology he is basically says he should have stepped in and stopped it, insinuating that the whole bounty program was someone else's idea.

GW bascially outed the organization and players. Either he cut a deal with the NFL to lessen his fine/suspension or he is out for revenge or both. If GW gets off light we will know for sure.

Sooner or later he'll have to face the Saint's or ex-Saints defenders and I wouldn't be surprised if he suffered a side-line accident in the future. Watch the dirtbag start coaching from the press box next year.

Are you say he will have a "bounty" on his head? lol

I wonder how much GW paid Jimmy Graham for that hit on Payton?

OK that is funny... quote of the day!!!

What is the going rate for a head coach?

No one entity is stealing our dynasty. It all comes back to greed and false pride.

Whether it's the previous lockout, the bounties or the Brees negotiation, it all boils down to greed. Anyone in the organization who has continually placed their money and stats well above the team and competitive ethics can GTFO off our team, right now.

Euphoria 03-05-2012 06:00 PM

Agreed Neugey.

I always want my team to play the game the way it is suppose to be played and never want to stoop to low levels. Damn it my team is better than that.

I think in a way letting GW walk was the start of making the situation right. I don't know if they knew the situation would come back to bite them back in this way.

Rams may lose their DC for this.

i agree but then we would lose brees due to his latest stint of greed

Euphoria 03-05-2012 06:52 PM

I don't see how we lose Bree's?

he said greedy people who are placing the money above all can GTFO.
brees as of late = greedy
brees not signing his franchise tag = greedy

OldMaid 03-05-2012 07:16 PM

I want to see the game played as a good sport. I do not support or like any dirty plays. I believe the NFL should take more precautions to make sure the team is as it has been, a physical sport and not flag football.
I think helment to helmet head butts should be out.
SF 49's head butted helmet a Saints' player in the PO game and it was a legal hit.

The Gringh, GW, did not steal our dynasty or SB win. Some are questioning that but really. The Saints won their season fairly and won that SB failry.
Any talk about them not doing is just media talk.
So if the Saints did fairly win, so the refs and NFL and other coaching staffs and team owners let the Saints win? It was a conspriacy. Reporters and fans were in on too in letting the Saints win? Tackles were not reviewed?
Really?

Come on man .This should be on the NFL's Network Come On Man show.

I will admit, it was a bit of veiled shot at Brees on my part.

I love the way Drew plays and the effort he puts into playing the game. But the contract negotiation has been going too far. He is not the CEO of our team.

RaginCajun83 03-05-2012 08:12 PM

I'm one of Drew's biggest fans and I'm starting to question his actions about his contract. By now a deal needs to get done so they sign everyone else

Mardigras9 03-06-2012 01:02 PM

Don't think we can pass judgement on Brees yet. It's all still media reports and speculation. Drew's character for the last 6 seasons suggests a different person. He certainly doesn't walk on water. We just have to wait and see when it is said and done.

Speaking of NFL Network, did any of you notice that the NFL Network played "America's Game" all day Saturday, and at least once, when the 2009 Saints were scheduled to aire, it was changed to a different game?

Yes I did see they pulled the game. They say it has nothing to do on what is going on. Really? Do they anyone would believe that line of crap. I mean it's almost like saying "Keeping the team in tact", no one would fall for that one.....or would we??????????
