Nobody here really knows why Drew did not take the deal. It could have nothing at all to do with the money.for all we know he could be waiting for this bountygate thing to blow over. Maybe he is trying to get his core players signed first before he signs a contract.

You goal is to give your client what he wants. Drew has said on the record he wants to stay here. Period. Condon and the Saints both know that Drew will sign the 18.5m deal if this goes all the way to July, he has basically said so.
