Coach Sean P is selling his Dallas house?

Maybe. That is was it his house or was he leasing it?
Maybe he is moving to another home there. I thought if his family wanted and needed to be based somewhere he and his wife wanted to live as a permanent place, great.

I  am too confused about the Topsy Turvy World of the Saints Soap Opera.

But Still Always:bng:

He was leasing it. the person that owns it is selling it.

One of 2 things could come into play here.
1. Can't afford the Dallas home with the upcoming fines.
2. Benson "suggested" he move back to New Orleans to be part of the community again.

3. His wife found out that this is why he ACTUALLY couldn't tell her where he was going on Mondays after work.

Great point !

Realistically, if Payton never owned the house outright, then moving his family into something a little cheaper for the next year or two makes perfect sense, knowing he is definitely going to have large hefty fines hanging over his financial head in the near future. Or, as CharityMike said, it could just be coincidence, that he was leasing and the owner of the house is selling the house, it could be unrelated to anything at all. I've had houses I was renting sold out from under me before! (Glad those days are behind me)

The house belongs to Mark Texiera and he's selling it for $3.9 million. I guess Sean doesn't want to pay that much for the house. My wife played golf there on a customer outing a couple of months ago and said the area is unbelieveable but that there a lot of Cowboy players living there so that could be the drawback!

I wonder what the lease payments were ....

That blows the "He's going to Dallas" theroy out of the water.

He's gonna need all the money he has when the fines come down.

Just think of the money on air fare and baggage fees he could save if they lived in NO.
