The only thing is Washington has never been good... always had great measurables which make him interesting.

Very true, but we do have some depth issues at corner. Definitely not a top our priority list, but we should still keep an open eye to other positions of need too.

I thought that Washington did have some productive years with the Raiders earlier on, but you're right, he was never that good, which begs the question: why were the Saints interested in him?

Isn't Trufant sorta "injury prone"?

Yeah, among other things he suffers from chronic back pains.

On another note, talking about players the Seahawks's have released - has there been any news of Lofa Tatupu since he visited the Saints?

Measureables, depth, and probably cheap. We already had Greer, Porter, and Robinson in front of him... at best he was going to be our dime in front of Patrick.

I don’t like it. Spags likes physical corners and to me he’s a little under sized. I say pass.

But we also have to consider what type of corners best fit Flajole's schemes, but in general if they want to avoid what they went through with the Rams last season, they'll probably want to have a lot of depth in the secondary.

He only played in 4 games last year I think, back injury.
