Hope that means we've got a deal done. Losing Nicks would be potentially devastating.

Do we even have the ability to keep Nicks and sign Drew? Is it even financially possible?

Definitely: the restructuring helped, and we haven't spent much yet this off season.
The surprising thing is that he was just badmouthing the FO yesterday.

Yes, especially after Smith and Evan's restructured.

Its gonna make it tough to sign everyone else and make some upgrades on defense, but it can be done.

Maybe he was on vacation? But in the midst of contract talks that sounds like Nicks is coming back! This was my #1 biggest concern in free agency (I'm personally not concerned about Brees, totally confident that he will get his deal eventually.)

Of course, reading the rest of his tweets, they are all still complaining about not getting an offer.

I'm reading he just meant back in town. He has an autograph signing gig with the rest of his O-line in Mississippi today.
