It's not costing anymore than what they were owed. It's actually a good thing since what they were due was split up.

No we are free and clear.

Part of the deal that was made was that Reggie also had to renegotiate his contract.

Truth, but the Stinch contract was enough cap room to sign Nicks and Brees prior to free agency.
