Two words for the team you had over the past few seasons... "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!"

^ Hope so.

The Saints kind of remind me of the 2000 Ravens in that respect. They did what they had to do to get the trophy but had to pay afterwards. Though they kept the basic structure of the team to keep competitive.

I think Saints can do that too! Thank you too, Bro!

I don't wanna rain on parades here, but BOLTS what do you think the thought process was in SD on grabbing Meach. He's an awesome reciever, true but now it's like SD has a bunch of #2 recievers and no go to guy. If Rivers has has to put the ball in tight coverage he's gonna struggle. Just wondering, BTW it still was an awesome signing for you guys, I think you overpaid a little though!!!!

When success shows up, everyone will be looking for their reward money.
The ugly truth is, we can't reward everybody. It's just a fact.
Some other teams will have to fork up reward money to pay for our past success,
and hope future success comes along with it.
Would be nice to have KC or Tampa CAP space where we could afford to pay everybody,
but then we would have been 6-and-10.

We've lost good players before. Just be glad that we haven't lost more players along the way.

A part of me hated to see Jackson go but I think the money saved was spent very wisely. Meachum and Royal can really help spread the field as Floyd and Gates have always had great hands. I also think that Vincent Brown has potential to gain that super star status that Jackson had as well. Besides, when we won seven games without Jackson in 2010

With that said... when the Patsies won three titles, they didn't have any high profile receivers. They had a solid team in all areas. That's what it takes.
