Here's an idea... it was refueling!!!!!! I work at the Pensacola, FL airport and I've seen a Colts plane and a Ravens plane... last time I checked, we don't have a football team. Speculation, speculation...

I did some checking on the internet and could find no info on a 747 painted in Steelers colors.

However, US Airways does operate a few LogoJets painted in some NFL team colors; the Steelers are one. However, all are AirBus A319-100 aircraft
