The Mercedes-Benz Superdome is one of four finalists for the 2012 Sports Facility of the Year award, presented by Street & Smith's SportsBusiness Journal and SportsBusiness Daily. The other finalists are: Amway Center in Orlando, Fla.; Livestrong Sporting Park in Kansas City, Mo.; and Salt River Fields at Talking Stick in Scottsdale, Ariz.

The superdome is really nice. If you haven't seen it since the full renovation has been done, you need to see it in person to believe it!

I can't comment on the other places, as I've driven by Livestrong Park in KC, and it looks great, it's pretty fancy.

Agreed. For any of you that have not been to the Dome this past season, you need to go. It is now state of the art. You can see the field from all of the concourse areas (while at concessions) and the restrooms have been totally renovated. There are far more ladies rooms than men's (keep the missus happy) and the exterior grounds are fantastic. Entry is much easier and exit is quick. The seating has been upgraded and over 3000 additional seats have been added bring the sidelines closer to the field. The acoustics are better than ever, thus making the Dome louder than ever.

Not only do we have one of the premier teams in the league, but we now have one of the premier stadiums.

I would't really call it a whoopin'; Saints were fortunate that the Lions were a bit un-disciplined in that game.

If Stafford stays healthy, I believe the Lions will win the NFC North.

BCS championship, Final Four, NFC Championship (naturally,) Super Bowl, all within 14 months...
