If Loomis is suspened, how will that effect Drews contract negoations. Or will it. We might know by friday.

I heard that too... If he is suspended this week, effective immediately; do all contract negotiations stop? And he won't be allowed in the team room during the draft? And I've been hearing we will know by tomorrow for the last two weeks

It would have zero affect on negotiations. Loomis has a staff working for him that is totally privy to everything, and don't for a minute think that he still wouldn't have a say.

I seriously doubt he'd be suspened. That's way too harsh considering Belichick got off with a fine.

I don't think there is really a way to suspend Loomis. Maybe not let him be in on contract negotiations, or the draft? I am like whatever. Those options would be nothing more than ceremonial, and no, the Saints wouldn't miss a beat. Like you guys said, he has staff working for him. The only way the NFL is going to get Loomis is by a stiff fine, and I am pretty sure he will get one of those. Of course in the true nature of things, Benson would probably give Loomis a nice raise next year to compensate for it.

I am expecting him and Peyton to be banned and finned.
Might not make any difference if the take our draft picks away.

The league is going to make Loomes and Payton handle fish without wearing gloves?

I don't know why everyone is so bent out of shape about Bree's not having a contract.

Its part of the buisness and the guy also the face of the players union and helped worked out that labor agreement. Being tagged is going to save us some money... its a smart move by the organization.

how do you suspend a GM? How could that be monitored? Do they take his cell phone and laptop and make him wear a 24 hour recording device?

That's almost exactly what they do. The GM is not allowed to have any contact with any NFL personnel aside from the league office during the suspension. If they do its a fine and an extension.
