I heard he was actually going to commend us for our desire to play hard-nosed football, and award us a first rounder.

.. or he can "save face" by correctly assessing the situation and being fair, how about that?
And besides, "save face" from whom? King and Florio?

I'd buy that for a dollar.

I hope he is fair and we get out with the least punishment we can, I just don't see Goodell as being fair...

I hope we get a fair punishment. I hope we get treated as though we did something wrong and pay the correct price for it. The only problem with this whole scenario, is when and what did we do? There have been too many crossing stories that you can't think we are being judged by the correct standards.

Was there really pay for injury perks? Or was it pay for tough play? Those are two different things. One is severe, the other is a slap on the wrist infraction. I guess we'll see...
