But I do see legal action in our future pending an appeal to the NFL.

Harshest action taken by the NFL ever!
I don't know, I'd bet we could get ALL SAINTS FANS involved in a class suit, but then again GOD-dell and the NFL, HAVE NO CLASS.

Not a class action lawsuit...

Have everyone and their second cousin sue Goodell individually in small claims for maximum allowable - such as "I built my man-cave to enjoy Payton-led Saints Football this season but now I'm out expenses for the new fridge, beer tap, and the Hooters Girls appearance fees totalling $3,100usd; Goodell can't send proxy legal representation and he must make an appearance or risk losing by default...

He'll be in court until 2112...

No Class action suit, need to file lawsuit in Federal Court for Breech of Contract by the NFL to its' season ticket holders. When we had to re-up for season tickets this had not been done. I wonder if the league and the Saints waited to announce the punishment after the deadline to re-new season tickets. I feel that there is a breech of contract because we were certainly expecting Sean Payton to be the head coach for the 2012 season, not to mention the players that have yet to be suspended.

You're dreaming. This isn't the first time the coach in March hasn't been the coach when the season started. Usually it's because they've been fired, but that's beside the point - it's just as much (or as little) a breach of contract.

I'd say a boycott of NFL apparel, NFL network and Sunday Ticket would be a good start. I'd love to fly to New York and throw oranges at his face.
Could one fan base get a Commissioner fired? Not when the other 31 fan bases are on the Commissioner's side. Check out other fan sites - your sympathisers are outnumbered.

We are certainly outnumbered in the court of public opinion, I'd still drive from my home in Washington State to NFL HQ in support of a massive sit-in or an "occupy HQ" where we are free to voice our displeasure, pee wherever we want and maybe drop a deuce on the flowers if it so moves us!
