It's not the initial investigation... The NFL told the Saints to stop and someone obviously tipped them off before last season and that re-opened the investigation.

Let's put it this way, if Sapp is wrong about Shockey then he should be fired ASAP. There would be NO excuse for a member of the national news media making false accusations and getting in a Twitter war.

ESPECIALLY the NFL NETWORK!

I believe Shockey done it!!!! iF HE DID PURPOSELY OR TO WARN CAM NEWTON idk I can only think if he told it probably had to do with the late push on Smith after a TD and Malcom Jenkins and Smith got into it.

There's no direct proof shockey said anything yet, obviously Sapp have some insider information, he's cool with a lot of defense players in the league including players of his formal rival, I'm sure he got confirmation from several players that knew who snitched... sharper said he knew who it was as well but refused to let the name slip.

Shockey also never denied he snitched he just said he's not part of the scandel...... read between the lines on that....

Ok the snitch news has broke to usatoday, wwltv and wwl radio, washionton postbleacher report, tampa bay times etc.. shockey will have to come out of hiding and say something now
