Why can't you picture it?

Feb 5, 2013 A packed house at Mercedes Benz Superdome, The New Orleans Saints vs The Denver Broncos final score 34 - 14. Rodger Goodell is handed the Lombardi Trophy and he has to give it to Saints interm Head Coach Pete Carmicheal. As soon as Pete gets the trophy he yells, THIS ONES FOR SHAWN!!!!!! The frenzied crowd starts a " BOUNTY THAT" chant. You wanna tell Goodell to go and f$%k himself, that is the best and only way to go about doing it. It seems to be the only thing he respects. It won't be easy, doesn't mean it can't be done. Here are some Hat Hangers if you doubt my logic.

Drew Brees now has the upper hand in negotiations and given the timetable that league has set for Loomis to adhere to league sanctions you can expect Brees to be signed before pre-season workouts start. The strategy for signing Brees will probably be different now as well Loomis will be working on an " anything he wants, just get it done budget"

Pete Carmicheal did coach well in Shawn Peytons absence, save that Rams game. Steve Spagnolou also has head coaching experience so its not like we are totally in the dark. Shawn basically crossed every i and dotted every t you cant tell me that if the coaching staff bands together it can't get that done.

We have been a diamond in the rough finding staff ( mostly payton and loomis ) have been the best at finding diamonds in the rough part of the draft ( lower rounds and undrafted )..... Pierre, Colston,Ivory, Im sure Payton has a few names even our insiders aren't considering and he is giving the Draft plan he wants implemented as we speak.

Offense has carried the D every season but one since Shawn Payton blessed the Saints with his presence, thats not going to stop this season. We still have weapons a plenty.

This team didn't lose a home game last season, I expect that trend to continue or be real close to continuing where maybe we lose 1 home game.

Goodell in implementing his bullS%^t discipline has galvanized our team, they will rally around each other and the fans will follow you try stopping a team with fans as loyal as ours, that is hard to do!!!!

There is a lot of truth in that. There is a faction that can never forgive us for not allowing "golden boy" Brett Favre to get to the Superbowl. Bayless almost gets a glint in his eye every time he talks about Favre and the Saints unceremoniously put that to an end.

Hell they even changed the overtime rules over that game because some damn people hated the outcome that much. They got their revenge yesterday, albeit somewhat self-inflicted, but make no mistake there are some very happy people in the NFL/media today.

I would love this moment, but realistically we have to beat the other teams, the refs, and the commish without our coach.

It's kind of suprising Goodell didn't ban us from post-season play, but maybe that would have made it too obvious that he has it in for us, even to likes of Skip Bayless.
