Brady Restructures Deal to create Cap Room

This should tell you about the difference between a 1st ballot Hall of Fame player and leader and other players (hint, hint).

Brees should have Taken the hint months ago, but no hes being stubborn and making us have nothing to get excited about, this is easily the worst offseason I can remember

Good for him and the Pats - he clearly isn't being represented by Tom Condon.

All he did was get more guaranteed money and shifted a major cap hit to next year by restructuring the final three years. He already got the big payday in the first two years just like Brees wants. There is no way Mr. Golden Boy Brady would have considered restructuring if it wasn't to his advantage. In other words, he wouldn't have done it last year or the year before.

Try comparing apples to apple when trying to slam our players, okay?

If you read that right, Brady didn't get any less money, they just paid him more in signing bonus so that it counted less against the cap. He got paid his money.

Brees needs to sign first, before we could do that with him. He just needs to let us structure the contract in that kind of fashion so that each year we can pay him a bigger signing bonus which will reduce the cap and still give him his money.

He is represented by an agent that got him the kind of guaranteed money up front that Brees wants in his contract.

You don't know whatthe Saints offered. The Saints may have offered him way more than he's worth and Brees still said no.

You do know that I meant that to be taken as a joke, not as a serious observation?
